Inexpensive military issue that is durable, sturdy and stable. A true AK-47 of watches.
I love this watch! I needed another watch for using in extreme cold weather, and am very pleased with it. It is a perfect size, and wears comfortably. Shipping was very prompt (and free) from Scubadude, and I look forward to purchasing more watches from them.

Very impressed by the Vostok Scubadude. Nice weight and style. I understand it's not a Swiss precision movement or anything but I'm good with adjusting the time occasionally. For the price very impressive.

The amphibian I purchased is beautiful and some call it the AK-47 of watches! To the average watch enthusiast, the crown and stem appear to be poorly manufactured when setting the time. That’s because the entire assembly seems to hanging out of place. This is engineered to do just that as it reminds the owner he needs to screw it back in. With this type of system, it is almost impossible to take this watch into the lake, ocean or swimming pool with a crown that is not screwed in all the way. The double case back is also pure Russian genius. The case back ring must be removed first. It acts as a washer that distributes the pressure evenly across the snap back case back. Everything about how this watch seems weird or even cheap at first but then after further analyzing you realize how clever the design actually is.

The watch is tremendous. Very unique dial. Scubadude got this to me lickety split too. Will be back in the future.
