The 24 hr movement is great. It's an adjustment to read the nice black line indexes on the 2 1/2 vs the light pips on the fives. Once your brain speaks the correct time when you glance at it, it's quirky and excellent.

The K35 is ruggedly built and surprisingly accurate. The price/quality ratio is outstanding. I live in Europe, where 24-hour time is common, so it wasn't difficult to get used to reading the time on the dial. And it elicits the desired "WTF is that?" from my fellow watch nerds. I absolutely recommend this watch to anyone who wants something unique yet affordable in their collection.

If ever you find yourself wanting a quality watch and a quick turn around time, scuba dude has you handled. Both watches I received were in great condition when I received them. They were packaged great and the email service was great. My only gripe was my delivery was done through USPS and I have heard some horror stories (also if they steal you can’t really get it back). That being said it is outside of Scubadudes control so there’s no reason to ding or otherwise deduct.

Finally getting into the world of watches. I was fascinated by the history of this company and impressed by what their engineers were able to accomplish under the restrictions of the USSR. I shopped around for a bit and found ScubaDude. The organization of their site was above all of the others I came across; it was easy to search through the different case styles and narrow down my selection. I have always liked dive watches with a blue face so I landed on the 420289. The price was the best I found anywhere and shipping was fast. This is my first Vostok and most likely will not be my last. ScubaDudeStore will be the first place I search for my next model and will be the shop I recommend to others looking to do the same.

I originally ordered a watch but quickly realized I had ordered the wrong one. Roman responded and canceled it without any incident. I then ordered one I wanted (sort of; I really wanted the black-face Neptune but it was out of stock, though it's now in stock!), and it was shipped quickly and arrived in good packaging and shape. It's a nice watch, though the band leaves a lot to be desired. I contacted Roman about the band and he responded with some good information and ideas about what I could do about it. I was impressed. I will purchase from them again for sure!
