Size Guide

Vostok organizes its watches by case number — each one is a unique shape and size. Here's everything you need to choose the right one.

420 case — Classic round

Diameter: 39mm | Lug to lug: 45mm | Thickness: 15mm | Strap width: 18mm | Date: Yes

The original and most iconic Amphibia shape. Compact and round with short, almost invisible lugs. Wears smaller than the numbers suggest — great for wrists under 17cm. The classic Scuba Dude dial lives here.

060 case — Round with hidden lugs

Diameter: 37mm | Strap width: 18mm | Water resistance: 200m

Smallest of the Amphibia range. Hidden lugs give it a clean, modern look. Good for smaller wrists or those who prefer an understated watch. Also available in a women's version (05 case).

090 case — Tonneau / barrel

Diameter: 41mm | Thickness: 15mm | Strap width: 22mm | Date: No

Distinctive barrel shape inspired by the original 1967 design. No date window — cleaner dial. Heavier and chunkier than the 420. Very popular with collectors. Note: its bezel won't fit other cases.

120 case — Round, mid-size

Diameter: 40mm | Lug to lug: ~49mm | Strap width: 22mm | Date: Yes

A well-proportioned round case between the 420 and 090. Uses 22mm straps giving more options than the 420. Wears nicely on smaller wrists despite the longer lug-to-lug.

710 case — Ministry / cushion

Diameter: 41mm | Lug to lug: 45mm | Thickness: 15mm | Strap width: 22mm | Date: Yes

Square cushion shape with a chunky, solid feel. Nicknamed the "Ministry" because early versions had government ministry dials. Best suited for wrists 17cm and above.

960 case — Neptune, large format

Diameter: 46mm | Strap width: 22mm | Water resistance: 200m

The largest Amphibia case. Bold statement piece for those who prefer a big watch presence. Note: unique lug design limits strap options — check compatibility before ordering.

Common questions

What does the case number mean?
Vostok uses internal case codes to identify each unique shape. The number doesn't indicate diameter directly — it's just a factory reference.

Do all cases take the same strap width?
No. The 420 case uses 18mm straps. All other Amphibia cases use 22mm straps, giving far more aftermarket options.

Are all Amphibia watches waterproof to 200m?
Yes. All current Amphibia models are rated to 200m thanks to Vostok's unique compression case design.

What's the difference between Amphibia and Komandirskie?
The Amphibia is a dive watch (200m) with a rotating bezel. The Komandirskie is a military field watch — slimmer, less water resistant, better for everyday wear.
