“North Pole 1” was the first drifting station in history, established for scientific hydrological and geographical research in the Arctic. The station was opened on June 6, 1937, approximately 20 kilometers from the North Pole. Its mission was to conduct comprehensive research in the Arctic region, including meteorological observations, oceanographic studies, and investigations of ice conditions. The goal was to collect critical data on weather patterns, sea ice movement, and other environmental factors to enhance understanding of the Arctic climate and its role in global weather systems.
The station operated for nine months, during which the ice floe drifted 2,850 kilometers. The expedition concluded on February 19, 1938.

First of all, simply holding this thing you know it’s from Russia haha. Very sturdy. I would not be afraid of the wilderness with this tool. The knife is incredibly sharp, the saw tool is also VERY sharp. I haven’t had a chance to use the other tools(except for the screwdriver to take apart my girlfriend’s bed). Highly recommend! It’s also covered in the grease (just like the description says) and it came to me in pristine condition.

I’ve so far gotten 6x of these watches (4x amphibia and 2x Komandirskie) and they are all just simply awesome. These watches are difficult to obtain in the USA if the scubadude store wasn’t here and I don’t mind paying a little more to have the peace of mind and customer satisfaction guarantee. 10/10 would recommend scubadude store as well as any Vostok watch. Just look up reviews/videos of the watches online to get a better idea of the watches!

I just love this. Before you buy, note the wobbly crown, which i personally love, and the VERY BAD jingly jangly hair puller bracelet. I personally put it on a leather rally strap.
Fantastic watch, needs more adjustment daily than I'm used to to keep accurate and on time, but definitely the nicest watch I've ever owned!
